Grant Park "Weed-Out!" Program


By taking part in a weed-out session, you not only help to preserve the natural areas of our parks.  You'll also gain an appreciation for the wide variety of native trees and shrubs that we have in the woodlands of Grant Park.

In taking part in fall weedout, you are also preserving habitat which supports migrating birds.

Fall 2011 "buckthorn" weedout dates are

All sessions meet at the "Tennis Courts & Picnic Area 1" Parking Lot
